ASPIRIN for Pain

Q: Is there anything I can do to ensure I receive pain relief as quickly as possible?
A: Use uncoated ASPIRIN for fast relief from pain, and take ASPIRIN with a full glass of water to speed the absorption process. Also, follow the directions on the package regarding number of pills and time between doses.

Q: Is it hazardous to combine pain relievers?
A: There are many over-the-counter products used for different conditions that contain the same active ingredient. It is important that you are aware of combining these products so that you do not exceed the maximum daily dose of the active ingredient. Depending on the active ingredient (e.g., ASA, acetaminophen, ibuprofen) and the amount ingested, the impact of an accidental overdose may be life-threatening but can go undetected initially because of the lack of symptoms. With ASPIRIN, the symptoms of an overdose are typically apparent and include, but are not limited to, nausea, rapid heart beat, rapid and deep breathing. Speak to your doctor before taking products with different pain relievers. And even if there is an absence of symptoms after an overdose, you should call a doctor or hospital immediately.
